Thanks Nyl/Lyc for your long and honest post. I can relate to a lot of what you say, even tho' I'm coming from a gay perspective. I definitely look at some of the guys in speedos that turn me on the most and think, "Wish that were me".
I don't think anyone should come down on you if you have some major fears or even repulsion around gay issues. Anyone who has come out should know what that feels like. I totally agree with you that sexuality is a continuum with many complex variations. If we were all totally honest with ourselves and each other, there'd be a lot of surprising stuff being discussed. One of your straight friends might be wearing nylons under his business suit; one of your female relatives might be into gay male porn, or using a strap-on with her boyfriend! As for speedos, as much as I like the bulge, one picture of two guys in speedos kissing is worth a hundred of the hottest solo models. But I guess that might be a total turnoff to you, huh?
