Most gyms have rules against thongs in the pool, sauna or steam room unless you cover up with a towel and then what is the sense of that? Even the notorious Bally's in Ft Lauderdale won't allow it, at least I dont think they will....hmmm, maybe I should try. However no prob on the beaches. I have a single layer white Gazelle that goes over pretty well.
